Les Blongios

The association "Les Blongios" was established in 1992 in the Pas-de-Calais department. Its first activity was organizing naturalist volunteer work camps. After several years of existence and numerous nature work camps, the association also implemented a process of awareness-raising and citizen participation in environmental protection.

Specifically, the actions of Les Blongios include, every year: - Nature work camps with volunteers, around sixty per year in the Nord-Pas-de-Calais region and the rest of France. - Nature work camps with organized groups within educational projects in various institutions: schools, leisure centers, reintegration centers, medical-educational institutes, etc. - Nature work camps as "team-building" activities for companies during team cohesion days. - Setting up participatory projects in collaboration with local communities and their inhabitants to renaturalize green spaces and thus recreate local social bonds.

The association "Les Blongios" spreads social values of sharing, solidarity, and learning through its nature work camps. Its existence for over 25 years has made this association a regional reference point for volunteering in the preservation of biodiversity.
