Presentation of the Association

Pays de l'Ours - Adet is the association that initiated the return of the bear in the central Pyrenees. For over 30 years, our mission has been to advocate for the bear, promote its return, and value it for local populations within a broader perspective of sustainable development.

Project Description

Providing accurate and clear information to the public is essential for defending the bear's cause in the Pyrenees. Each year we create and develop various communication materials. These tools are aimed at both locals (restaurateurs, traders, and residents of the Pyrenees) and visitors.

In 2023, we aim to reissue our information brochure "The Bear: Know and Protect" with updated design and content. This document is available for both professionals and individuals. The brochure compiles everything there is to know about the species: its habitat, diet, distribution in the Pyrenees, and much more: The bear will have no more secrets for you!
