Donation to the association Les Autruches Utopistes

The Association "Les Autruches Utopistes" ([https://autruchesutopistes.com/](https://autruchesutopistes.com/)) is a young association that was founded in Bordeaux in March 2019. The co-founders of the association aim to promote three main themes: Zero Waste, Democracy, and Citizen Engagement.

The creators met in 2014 in Cambodia. In South Asia, they were already working on environmental projects, particularly on eliminating disposable plastic items in favor of reusable objects. Once back in France, confronted with the reality of plastic use in numerous domains and its overconsumption, they decided to create the association.

This young association bases its research and experiments on the 5 principles of Zero Waste: refuse, reduce, reuse, compost, and recycle, to which they add three other principles: "repair, redesign, and rethink the model." Their project is to create a multimedia content platform with various possible formats: articles, illustrations, podcasts & videos ([https://vimeo.com/autruchesutopistes](https://vimeo.com/autruchesutopistes)). To achieve this, they plan to meet with actors and communities to highlight Zero Waste actions that minimize environmental impact and are already in place and functioning in our lifestyles.

To create these multimedia materials, they wish to be consistent in their approach. They are seeking funding for their various travels to use public transportation and thus reduce their environmental impact. Ecomail wishes to assist them with a donation to meet the needs of a young association (less than a year old) in a field we wish to support, which is communication about Zero Waste.
